LVonne McMillan is the founder and CEO of Advocate for Me, LLC, specializing in working with neurodivergent families. As the parent of a child born prematurely with special health care needs, this cause is deeply personal to her. LVonne has chronicled her journey as a mother and educator in two collaborations with author Ericka Gilchrist: Women Thriving Fearlessly Volume 1 and Women Thriving Fearlessly Mother’s Edition. Her experiences also inspired her children’s book, What About Me?, which follows an autistic child navigating inclusion in a childcare center.

In February 2022, LVonne partnered with her son Jordan Smith to write Jordan’s Journey, a children’s book about his experience with a feeding tube. In 2023, she became an Amazon best-selling author with the anthology Own It alongside 57 co-authors. LVonne’s mission is to enhance lives through her gifts as an educator, CEO, speaker, advocate, and author.
